Photographing a wedding (and engagements for that matter) is so much more than just taking great photos. The process of creating great work for couples is an all encompassing experience.

It’s more than just saying “stand here”, “laugh”, “act natural”, etc. While that may work sometimes, the vast majority times it doesn’t and you end up with bland/basic photos that everyone else gets.

That’s where I come into the equation. When you’re in front of my camera, my goal is to create a comfortable, fun, and loving environment for you so that your photographs really reflect who you are as a couple.

The Experience

So often times, couples tell me that they don’t want to feel too posed. Or that they’re not models and they don’t know what to do. If that’s you, don’t worry, you’re not alone!

That’s what I’m here for; to help you look your best and have fun doing so at the same time. If you’re looking for someone to just sit back and snap photos quietly hiding behind the camera, I’m not your guy. But if you want someone that always has your back, whether it be during your engagement sesh or your wedding day, that’s me! While I won’t be blabbering away the whole time, I will do whatever I have to do make sure you’re having a blast and getting the photos that you’ve always dreamed of.

Like I mentioned above, whenever I’m photographing a couple, I make sure you guys are having a great time. I promise, it won’t feel like you’re doing a photoshoot but rather like you’re just hanging out with your slightly silly friend that so happens to have a camera. We’ll get all standard photos that you’ve wanted as well as the fun, emotional, and of course, the candid ones that everyone loves so much.

A Flair for the Dramatic

 While most of my work is captured in natural light (usually during golden hour), I don’t let the limitations of the sun stop me from creating some truly dramatic & epic art for you guys.

That’s why at almost every session and wedding, I like to add just a little pop of light to bring out the drama. So when you look at those photos for the first time (and years to come), you say “Wow!”

Remember, no basic ish here! Your photos will stand out from the rest!

Communication Is Key

After booking, I won’t disappear until I see you on your wedding day. Not only do I stay in touch, but I help you along the way as you plan the wedding of your dreams.

I’ve been doing this for quite some time and I’m an open book. I will answer every photography and also some non photography related wedding questions you may have. Here’s what you can expect from me.

1. I will be in contact with you. Whether it’s through email, text, or DMs, I’ll just a few keystrokes away.

2. We’ll schedule time to go over your engagement sesh (date/location options/wardrobe) as well as schedule a wedding timeline review to go over your wedding day schedule to make sure we have plenty of time to capture everything that’s important to you.

3. When your wedding day comes around, you’ll really feel like you have a expert by your side the whole day. Once I get to your wedding, the show really starts. I’ll chat with your bridesmaids and make sure they’re comfortable, keep track of the time, and most importantly, make sure that you are really enjoying this day. I’ll bring some high energy, crack some jokes, and maybe even “save you” from your crazy relatives if that needs to happen (we all have families, lol).

4. Your photos will be done within 4 weeks of your wedding.

5. Photography is so very important, that’s why every time you’re in front of my camera and your photos are done, I have a preview session where you’ll see your photos for the first time and you’ll have the opportunity to purchase wall art and beautiful heirloom albums. IG likes are cool but they go away pretty quickly.
