San Francisco Palace of the Fine Arts Engagement - Joty + Raman

When Joty & Raman contacted me about capturing their engagement photos in San Francisco, I was pretty excited. I had never photographed an engagement session in San Francisco, so I knew it would be something fun and new.

We had originally planned on photographing their session at the Sutro Baths but that plan changed when the weather gods decided not to play nice with us. The forecast not only showed rain but also crazy winds which would have made that location almost impossible.

Since we couldn’t reschedule, we moved the shoot location to the Palace of the Fine Arts where I thought we could get a little cover from all the rain. Welp, I was almost right. While we did get some cover from the rain every so often, because of the winds, we were all still soaking wet.

Instead of letting the weather win, thankfully, we all just went for it! We went out in the rain and had some fun. Joty and Raman are such an awesome couple. It really makes my job such a joy whenever I get to photograph a couple that’s not only so cool but also so very in love.

While the conditions weren’t ideal, these two were and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to meet and photograph them.
